Make up artists do an amazing job for the bride, bridesmaids and mothers. An experienced make up artist will take your natural beauty and make it shine, well let’s hope it doesn’t shine. Make sure they are using a mat makeup so you keep your soft glow though out the wedding and well into the reception.
However, there is one thing to make clear with this vendor. They must finish your make up on time. I have been in many bride rooms where the make up artist has actually made the bride late for her wedding. It is unprofessional and downright rude for them to do this but it happens frequently. When you make your arrangements with them, and the hairstylist, make it very clear that they are to be finished at least 1/2 hour before the ceremony. This means they need to arrive and be set up 1 – 2 hours before the wedding. No bride needs to have this added stress at the last minute.
