Summer Heat

Are you having an outside wedding in the south or during the hot months of the year? Here are some hints to make sure your guests are comfortable.

1 Fans

Seems obvious but you will need many of them if you have an outdoor event.  You can also offer had fans but many electric fans placed strategically can really make your guests feel cooler.  You will be having older relatives and friends and they can really suffer from the heat.

2. Location

Set up the chairs so your guests are not sitting in the sun.

3. Time of day

If at all possible have your event in the morning or after dark. Avoid the heat of the day. It you live in a hot state this is  essential and your guests will thank you for it.

4. Indoor reception

To make dancing and other fun more bearable move the reception in doors. Then everyone can relax and enjoy their time without sweating.

Here are some photos from a summer wedding.
