Charlotte has done the photography for the Austin Chamber of Commerce Awards for several years. It is a real honor to capture these hard working winners. Teamwork is the theme of the all these amazing companies.
There is the Austin chambers mission Statement: For 140 years, the Greater Austin Chamber has connected the community to make Austin work. We invest in a broad range of programs that build and support a prosperous regional economy. Leveraging our Opportunity Austin initiative, we help create jobs, recruit job generators, and develop talent. We help companies’ startup, expand and innovate. We ensure students are workforce ready. We push for policy to remain the best place to work, live and play. We roll up our sleeves to take on the biggest issues our community cares about like affordability, CodeNEXT and traffic. We connect businesses to resources and information to help them network and grow.
I am so proud to be a part of this organization and be able to capture the Austin Chamber of Commerce Awards and see the amazing work they are doing.
Here is their key element: Our program recognizes businesses for excellence in giving back. We highlight Central Texas companies that donate 1% or more of their pre-tax earnings to the local community. This includes financial contributions, the donation of products/services and volunteer hours. How cool is this?
