Photography in the time of covid19

Photography in the time of covid19. Does this seem to be impossible since we are supposed to social distance? Actually it’s not impossible. We live in Austin, TX the month is April. It’s gorgeous outside. I do many headshots in the outside. I live on a green belt so the backdrop is right out the door. This means you do not need to enter into a studio and everything can be done with lots of space for protection. Check out these images for samples. This can be a business headshot or a family portrait. We are all looking for something fun to do and this is can fit that bill.

One of the most common questions we get is “Where will we shoot? Do you pick or do we?”My studio is at my home which backs up on a greenbelt. There are large live oak trees and lots of great green spaces.  But should you have a favorite park or other outdoor location well almost all outdoor locations have natural or built-in elements that can give you options for where to stand. These can include rocks, walls, trees, benches, bridges, cars, lamp posts, columns, archways, fences, fountains, and staircases. All of these elements are terrific posing props that make your photos interesting.
